[Greek] παραλογίζομαι (paralogizomai), [Latin] decipere, [Latin] fallere, [German] ertappen: to miscalculate, to delude, to deceive, to reason falsely, to lead astray, to reckon wrong; Col.2:4, Jas.1:22

The Modernist and Synodalists actually believe that the Church has been enriched by Vatican II and Synodality. They say this as Novus Order Mass are sparsely attended and TLM is thriving.

Background information

Greek Hellenism: This term means to defraud, to cheat, to reason falsely, and to mislead.

Isocrates’ Ad Filios Jasonis 6.12: “For they do not examine from all sides the real nature of the equation, but in many ways deceive themselves.”

Demosthenes’ Against Aphobus 1 41.30: “I have yet set forth to you all my charges, while my opponent evaded coming before those acquainted with the facts.”

Demosthenes’ Against Aphobus 1 27.29: “Is this is a trifling sum drawn, which might have easily been miscalculated?”

Socrates: “To believe without evidence and demonstration is an act of ignorance and folly.”

Aeschines’ Against Timarchus 1.117: “I fear that the man who professed to teach the young the tricks of speaking may mislead you by some artifice.

Old Testament: This term means to change, to come against, to transgress, to cover, to delude, to be betray, to carry, and to throw.

New Testament: This term means to delude and to deceive. James states that one must both be a hearer and doer of the gospel message. Listening but not practicing the gospel message does not allow one to conform oneself to the gospel. This conformity of life to the gospel brings true freedom and happiness.

Scripture:

Col.2:4: “I say this so that no one may deceive you by specious arguments.”

1. Paul is concerned that the Colossians are being influenced by false teachers.
2. The Colossians are admonished to adhere to the gospel as it was first preached to them.
3. They must not be captivated by empty, seductive philosophies according to human traditions, according to the world and not according to Christ.
4. These false teachers stress angels, principalities and powers, astral powers, and cultic practices.

Jas.1:22: “Be doers of the Word and not hearers, only deluding yourselves.” (One must both hear and follow (do) the Word in order to be conformed to the gospel message. Intellectual faith is not enough. Actions are also needed.)

Hearers of the Word:

1. This is a person who deludes himself.
2. This is like a person who looks at his own face in a mirror and promptly forget what he looks like.
3. The perfect law is the gospel (of Jesus) which brings freedom.

Doers of the Word:

1. This person is one who peers in the perfect law of freedom and perseveres.
2. This person is one who acts.
3. This person shall be blessed in what he does.

Perfect freedom: Man attains self-control by letting himself be controlled by God. Sounds like following God’s will! God provides a true liberation (freedom) from a deficient existence. Talk about a profound contradiction! Being controlled by God gives you freedom!!! [#MindBlown, #GodIsInControl] ☺☺☺

Pope Gregory XVI’s encyclical Mirari Vos (1832): refuting the need for a human “restoration” of the Church:

“All truth was daily taught it by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. It is obviously absurd and injurious to propose a certain restoration or regeneration for her [the Church] as though necessary for her safety and health, as is she could be considered subject to defect or other misfortune. These authors of novelties consider that a foundation may be laid of a human institution. That what was a divine thing may become a human Church.”

1. This encyclical repudiates and invalidates the need, purpose, and validity for bringing HUMAN traditions, worldliness (“fresh air”), and “smoke of Satan” (spirit of undermining) into the Church.
2. Prior to Vatican II, the Church was SEPARATE FROM THE WORLD. This was actually a very good thing for the Church and for society.
3. Prior to Vatican II, the Church IS the Catholic Church. (“Outside the Church there is NO salvation.”) CCC 846
4. Vatican II: The Church of Christ SUBSISTS in the Catholic Church. Any concept of the Catholic Church as being necessary for salvation has been minimized or eroded in order to be ecumenical with other faiths.
5. Jesus’ Church is a divine institution under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. There was/is no need to change Jesus’ Church. But the Modernists had other ideas!
6. St. Augustine also states that there is no salvation outside the Church.
7. We are all called to be temporary earthly sojourners and citizens of heaven. (1Pet.2:11, Php.3:20, Ep.2:19) Vatican II and Synodality has lost the plot in the Church being separate from the world.
8. Vatican II has resulted in a spiritual and pastoral disaster: decreased vocation, increase sacrilege, decreasing Catholic membership, closing churches, poor catechesis, watered down teachings, questionable ecumenism, permissive and liberal clergy, and human traditions.
9. Pope Leo continues to celebrate Vatican II’s efforts through Synodality to “renew” and “reform” the Church. The Synodalists are doubling down on what Vatican II has started.
10. Pope Paul VI and a commission of Protestants developed the Novus Order Mass. This new Mass, becoming more accommodating to non-Catholics, focuses more on a community meal rather than the Sacrifice.

Paralogism: A piece of illogical or fallacious reasoning, especially one which appears superficially logical or which the reasoner believes to be logical. This is related to the Greek paralogos, meaning unreasonable.

Modernist and Synodal delusional and circular thinking:

1. Synodal “reform” and “renewal” ===> creates new problems ===> need more “reform” and “renewal” ===> creates still more problems ===> more “reform” and “renewal” ===> rinse and repeat. Because Modernism (Synodality) is all that matters!
2. The German Synodal Church is continually “reforming” and “renewing” itself into decline and heresy.
3. Tradition and traditional Church teachings provide TRUE REFORM AND TRUE RENEWAL.
4. Inside the Church, an organic Holy-Spirit counter-movement is inspiring clergy and laity toward Traditional and doctrinal clarity. This movement is a counter-response against the doctrinal confusion and ambiguity in the Synodal Church.  We only need to refer to Acts 5:38-39 to see where this will lead to.
5. Modernist and Synodalists’ hard-heartedness toward the laity. The Synodal Church leadership continue implement Traditiones Custodes in their efforts to marginalize the faithful. Traditiones Custodes.
6.  Modernist Church architecture: this was an attempt to break from historical traditions, and focusing on function, design, and man.

Guiding principles of Modernists’ thinking:

1. Agnosticism: human reason is confined entirely within the field of phenomena (what is only perceptible to human senses and reason).
2. Vital Immanence: man uses sentiments, perceptions, and LIVED EXPERIENCES) to find an explanation for God, religious, faith, and doctrine. External objective supernatural reality is excluded or diminished.
3. Vital immanence: the consciousness of God seeps into the visible world. Creation/environment takes on divine qualities ===> pantheism and panentheism
4. Modernism is a synthesis of all heresies: cumulative human subjective errors ==> heresies ==> name your heresy ==> atheism (paying lip service to God)
5. Synodality (lived experiences) take precedence over Church teachings. Synodality becomes an IDOL!
6. Tolerance, inclusion, and false compassion, and “being pastoral” often result in ignoring, undermining, redefining Church teachings or even celebrating sin. “Homosexuality/sodomy is no longer sinful.”
7. Becoming a listening Church: This undermines Jesus’ command align ourselves to HIS STANDARD. Instead, the Synodal Church aligns itself to WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT IN THE CHURCH. The Synodal Church is a Church made in the image of man and his lived experiences.

Modernists’ and Synodalists’ animosity and opposition against Tradition:

1. Pope Francis: “It is a mistake for the Church to try to hold onto old traditions or to have clear answers for everything.” (God forbid that the Church would have clear answers for the people!)
2. Pope Francis: “Tradition is the dead faith of the living.” (Pope Frances denounces the faithful as backward looking.)
3. The Tradition Latin Mass (TLM) is now “divisive” with the Novus Order Mass and new Church ecclesiology (Synodality). This is necessary to secure Vatican II’s legacy.
4. Cardinal Cupich: “The Traditional Latin Mass “impoverishes” the Church.” (Cardinal Cupich makes this statement when TLM attendance thrives while the NOM continues to have sparse attendance. Sounds like Synodality must prevail at any costs.)
5. Pope Leo: “The people want the Church doctrine to change, want attitudes to change. I think we have to change attitudes before we change doctrine.” (This is dangerous in that Pope Leo already is OPEN TO CHANGING IMMUTABLE DOCTRINE. You know that this will happen with homosexuality and women’s ordination.)
6. Pope Leo believes that Vatican II has become the new moral guidepost for Catholicism. This is the gold standard, even if worldliness and the “smoke of Satan” (spirit of undermining) has entered into the Church.
7. Cardinal Roche: “The Church’s ecclesiology has changed.” (He illustrated his animosity toward Tradition and the TLM.
8. Synodal human traditions vs. Holy Spirit inspired movement toward Tradition and the TLM: Aside from this Synodal administrative action, the Modernists and Synodalists will not be able to stop this Holy Spirit inspired movement.

Conclusion:

Deceive, deception, deceptive, fall, paralogism, trap, capture

Demosthenes: those who cannot [or will not] face the facts often mistakenly think they can persuade others.

Isocrates: some can easily deceive themselves by being close-minded and/or unable to see the problem from other sides.

Update: Many priests are NOT acting like priests. They often remain silent, cowardly, and indifferent when scandals or heresies occur. They often pay lip service or fail to state Church teachings against sin. As a result, many eternal souls could be put in moral peril.

Specious arguments: human traditions, innovation, questionable ecumenical efforts, doctrinal confusion/ambiguity, democratization of Church structure and doctrine, shared clergy/laity doctrinal decision making.

Cardinal Tobin states that the TLM in New Jersey will be “paused until further notice.”  (Just more Synodal hard-heartedness ideology imposed on others.)

Cardinal Sarah states that normalizing LGBT ideology within the Church is a rebellion against the Cross. (This is undermining Jesus’ efforts to overtake sin.)

Pope Leo appoints a bishop who participated in a Panchamama ritual. (Evidently, idol worship is not a big deal in the Synodal Church.)

Pope Leo is willing to receive an Anglican woman bishop but not the SSPX. (This illustrates Pope Leo’s animosity toward Tradition.)

United Nations hypocrisy: Many UN delegates walked on this Prime Minister Netanyhu’s speech. Yet, privately, they thanked him for destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Pope Leo awards the Ratzinger Prize to a theologian who called the TLM deficient. (This also show Pope Leo’ animosity toward Tradition.)

St. Peter’s basilica is open to the LGBT community but is closed to Bishop Schneider’s TLM.

Ever since Vatican II, the Modernists’ and Synodalists’ efforts to transform the Church has NOT resulted in growth ===>sparse attendance at NO Masses, churches closing. In contrast, the Traditional Latin Mass (where allowed) ===> thriving attendance

Tradition and traditional practices will provide true reform and renewal for the Church.

Unfortunately, there are TOO MANY many cardinals, bishops, and priests who remain silent, cowardly, indifferent, or who actually support homosexuality. Each of these priests will have to answer for themselves at the judgment.
