[Greek] κακῶς (kakōs), [Latin] malus: evil, wicked, bad men, bad things, wickedness, ugly, to do harm; 51 scriptures

Evil often can present itself through subtle undermining and upending of Church teachings. This can lead to a tolerance, acceptance, redefining, and even acceptance of sin and heresy.

“The devil is capable of confusing the most brilliant minds.” St. Padre Pio

Background information:

Greek Hellenism: This term means evil, ugly, mean, unskilled, pernicious, doing harm, ill, and to have trouble in store.

Old Testament: This term means evil, foolishness, folly, wickedness, idolatry, vanity, confusion, contention, strife, and controversy.

Deception, confusion, and evil in the Garden of Eden (where the serpent tricked Adam and Eve):

Serpent: Did God really say, ‘You shall not eat from any of the trees in the garden?” (The serpent is already planting seeds of doubt in Eve’s mind.)

Serpent: “You certainly will not die! Therefore, you shouldn’t believe what God is saying. You can do whatever you want”! (The serpent is already calling God a liar!)

Serpent: “God well knows that when you eat of the fruit, your eyes will be opened and you will be like the gods, who know good and evil.” (The serpent is telling Eve: ‘God is holding you back from understanding wisdom’. ‘God doesn’t want you to know this! ‘You can do anything you want’.)

New Testament: This term means wretched, evil, bad things, to speak wrongly, wickedness, wrong, harm, and reckoning the bad.

Being accused of being evil (doing evil): Mt.27.23, Jn.18:23, Acts 23:9, Lk.16:25

  1. [Pilate]: What evil has He done?
  2. [Jesus]: If I have spoken rightly, why did you strike Me?
  3. We find nothing wrong with this man [Paul].
  4. Lazarus likewise received what was bad.

Evil comes from within: Mk.7:21, Rom.7:19, Jas.1:13, 3Jn.1:11, Col.3:5

  1. Evil thoughts come from the heart within people.
  2. [Paul]: I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want.
  3. No one should say, ‘I am being tempted by God’; for He tempts no one.
  4. Do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does what is good is of God; whoever does what is evil has never seen God.
  5. Put to death the parts of you that are earthy: immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, greed, idolatry.

Receiving judgment from the Lord: Mt.21:41, 2Cor.5:10, 2Tim.4:14, Rom.2:9, Rom.13:4

  1. He will put those wretched tenants to a wicked death.
  2. We must all appear before the judgment seat, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what one did, whether good or bad.
  3. The Lord will repay Alexander according to his deeds.
  4. Affliction and distress will come upon every human being who does evil.
  5. It is the servant of God who will inflict wrath on the evil-doers.

Being aware of evil and evil-doers: Acts 9:13, Rom.1:30, Rom.16:19, 1Cor.15:33, 1Tim.6:10

  1. I have heard what evil things Saul has done to your holy ones in Jerusalem.
  2. They are ingenious in their wickedness.
  3. [Against those factions] I want you to be wise as to what is good and simple as to what is evil.
  4. Do not be led astray. Bad company corrupts good morals.
  5. Those who live in the flesh: Rom.8:5-13
  6. For the love of money is the root of all evils.

What is not of God.

  1. Are only concerned with things of the flesh.
  2. The concern of the flesh is death.
  3. The concern of the flesh is hostility toward God.
  4. The concern of the flesh does not submit to the law of God.
  5. Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ do not belong to Him.
  6. Peter’s blindness (being briefly Satanically influenced by the Devil):

Mt.16:22: “Peter took Jesus aside and began to rebuke Him. ‘God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you.'” (At first glance, Peter’s statement sounds reasonable: Peter is concerned about Jesus’ welfare. Even compassion can be used by Satan to pursue his own ends to UNDERMINE God.)

Mt.16:23: “Jesus turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to Me. You are not thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.'” (Peter was briefly possessed by Satan, who wanted to obstruct Jesus’ mission in dying on the cross.)

Evil in the Church: undermining God, God’s laws and His Church

  1. Satan’s influences (through human actions) often manifest themselves in subtle, confusing, and misleading ways.
  2. At Vatican II, Pope Paul VI stated that the “smoke of Satan” (spirit of undermining) had entered into the Church.
  3. To undermine doctrinal clarity: to encourage doctrinal and moral confusion (ambiguity), false compassion, situational morality, “pushing the doctrinal envelope”, failing to follow Church teachings against sin, clergy criticizing Church teachings.
  4. To undermine God’s plans for marriage and procreation: to encourage the Church to bless “same-sex unions” and to recognize “same-sex unions” as a new marriage relationship
  5. To undermine God’s designs for gender: to encourage and recognize transgenderism.
  6. To undermine obedience to God: this seeks to encourage “I can do anything I want.” This sounds like the serpent’s message in the garden.
  7. To undermine Church governance, organization and decision-making: reforming, redefining, and renewing structures and institution of the Church: papacy, vocations, doctrine, authority, joint clergy/laity decision-making (this practice has never happened before!) ==> becoming less Catholic.
  8. To undermine the Church’s mission purpose in the world: unfortunately, the Church is more focused on MAKING A BETTER WORLD and SEEKING FAVOR WITH THE WORLD than BRINGING SOULS INTO HEAVEN.
  9. To undermine Church teachings/doctrine, Jesus’ statements, and scripture: seeking to ignore, redefine, de-stigmatize, and even celebrate sin (homosexuality/sodomy)
  10. To undermine the priesthood: seeking to diminish and remove celibacy, seeking to undermine celibacy by priests engaging in homosexual lifestyles
  11. To undermine the priesthood: to intentionally confuse/commingle gender roles and vocations/rights: leaving open the idea for women priests and women deacons (This undermines the notion that the male priest acts in the persona of Christ.)
  12. At first glance these changes may seem small, subtle, or nuanced. But that is how Satan works and undermines: very subtly and surreptitiously behind the scenes.

The slippery slope of false compassion and tolerance ===> ignoring, paying lip service to, redefining, and whitewashing/de-stigmatizing sinful behavior, following a different morality. This practice may even be insidiously deemed “pastoral”.

Catholic psychiatrist Conrad Baars explaining false compassion and tolerance:

“A person in authority who deprives his subjects of the truth when he says, even with the best intention of helping them, ‘You may ignore the teachings of the Magisterium: God’s laws are too hard for you.‘ By that he says in effect, ‘You are not and never will be strong and good enough to adhere to these laws.”

Conclusions:

  1. Some people can get a pass to not to have to follow or obey Church teachings. This becomes a situational morality.
  2. This is a form of false compassion (“mercy”) which gives permission for someone to ignore Church teachings and to give permission for to others to commit sin.
  3. Failure to instruct the faithful about sin will be very harmful the one who was told that sinful act is allowed.
  4. Clergy who allow this practice will also be harshly judged for failing to properly instruct the faithful about sin.

Valid criticisms and concerns about Synodality:

  1. Synodal advocates often invoke the “Holy Spirit of surprises” to ratify and justify their novel Synodal ideas. This is deceitful and evil. The Holy Spirit can only stand for Truth!
  2. Vatican’s LGBTQ “outreach”: The Church focuses more on synodal inclusion, toleration, false compassion rather than on stating Church teachings against homosexuality.
  3. Lived experiences (even if sinful) often TAKE PRECEDENCE over Church teachings. Synodality becomes an IDOL!
  4. The German bishops are advocating for homosexuality, no celibacy, women priests, and women deacons.
  5. The Vatican hierarchy has a large number of homosexual clergy. Efforts are being made to redefine, de-stigmatize, and normalize homosexuality.
  6. Synod leaders CONTINUALLY leave the door open to the possibility of women priests and women deacons. (“Changing attitudes can change doctrine.” Pope Leo)
  7. Fiducia Supplicans creates a justification for “informal blessings” of sinful same-sex unions. (What will be next? formal blessings!)
  8. Pope Leo appoints bishops who believe that sodomy is not sinful
  9. Synodal study groups who state that homosexuality is not sinful.
  10. We now have a “listening Church” ASKING THE CULTURE FOR WHAT IT WANTS in the Church! (This is a Church accommodating the world!)
  11. Fr. James Martin and other pro-LGBTQ clergy are given free reign to spread this “ideology” in the Church

What is the mission of Jesus’ Church?

  1. To make us perfect (Mt.5:48). To shape us into His image (NOT in man’s image and lived experiences. Huge red flag with Synodality!)
  2. To call us to repentance, conversion, penance, and to SIN NO MORE!
  3. To follow Jesus’ command to make disciples of nations, to baptize them, and to TEACH THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED. (Mt.28:19-20)
  4. God is NOT a God of disorder (confusion), but a God of peace. (1Cor.14:33)
  5. Did the Apostles ask the Jews, Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes what they wanted in the Church? No!
  6. Did St. Augustine ask the pagans what they wanted in the Church? No!
  7. Did past Catholic cardinals and bishops (councils) ask the Protestants what they wanted in the Church? No!
  8. Unfortunately, at Vatican II, Pope Paul VI had asked Protestant theologians what they wanted in the Novus Order Mass. Let that sink in!

Conclusion:

Malevolent, malevolence

Update : The Modernists’ (and Synodalists’) human traditions are UNDERMINGING TRADITION. (Ex. Traditiones Custodes)

Italian bishop Francesco Savio says that every homosexual has the right to receive the Eucharist. No one should be excluded from the Eucharist. This bishop is using false compassion as a way to de-stigmatize homosexuality and diminish sin. This is evil.

Satan, ruler and prince of this world, seeks to entice through sin, addiction, worldliness, fame, fortune, and spiritual dryness. Satan essentially seeks to make us FORGET ABOUT GOD!

Further pushing the doctrinal envelope: Fr. Rico Passero, pastor of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ontario, Canada, attended his brother’s homosexual wedding. Catholics are told NOT to attend these weddings. It is even a more grave scandal when a Catholic priest does this.

It is becoming more disappointing to see that Pope Leo seeks to follow the synodal path of Pope Francis. Pope Leo continues to receive Fr. James Martin and heretical Sr. Lucia Caram who favors homosexual marriage, contraception, and abortion. What does this say about Pope Leo?

Cardinal McElroy has threatened to laicize a priest for publishing allegations of clerical sexual abuse and cover-up. Cardinal McElroy has not refuted these charges. This is an evil form of retribution toward a priest

Seeking a common thread of rebellion: LGBTQ+ people and Satanists are finding their spiritual home with the Satan Temple. LGBTQ+ people are rebelling against God’s design for gender. Satanists are rebelling against God’s authority.

The Vatican invited the LGBTQ groups but have excluded the SSPX. Evidently, the Vatican is more concerned about things of the flesh rather than with Tradition.

The clerical leadership at the cathedral in Valence France banned the praying of the Hail Mary. This is evil.

Mercy above all else (under the guide of “false compassion”): Some Church leaders are seeking to REDEFINE OBJECTIVE MORAL TRUTHS with subjective situational morality (Adapting objective morality to the world.)

Very informative and thought-provoking thought experiment: ChatGPT was asked how to design a pontificate if it was UNDER THE CONTROL OF SATAN. THE RESULTS WERE HORRIFYING TO SAY THE LEAST!  This is already happening in the Church!!!

“Silence in the face of evil is evil itself. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” Dietrich Bonhoffer

“All the strength of Satan’s reign is due to the easygoing weakness of Catholics.” Pope Pius X

“The refusal to take sides on great moral issues is itself a decision. It is a silent acquiescence to evil.” Archbishop Fulton Sheen

“At the root of this GENDER THEORY IS THE WORK OF SATAN, who wants to build an actual anti-creation. This is the ultimate and terrible challenge which Satan is hurling at God.”  Cardinal  Carlo Caffarra
