[Greek] περιπατέω (peripateō), [Latin] ambulare, [Latin] quarere, [French] demander, [French] marcher, [French] voyager: to walk around, to live, to conduct the walk of life; 97 scriptures

Yet, Pope Francis and his inner circle continue to walk with the world in their efforts to remake Jesus’ Church into a worldly synodal Church (in the image of man)! In contrast, Bishop Strickland walks faithfully with God in the midst of opposition and persecution!

Background information:

Greek Hellenism: This term means to walk around, to prowl, to traverse, to have a discourse (walk while teaching), and to argue.

Demosthenes’ Orations 54.7: “I was taking a walk, as my custom was, in the agora with Phanostratus of Cephisia.”

Aristophanes’ Lysistrata 706: “Why do you come in sorrow in your eyes?”

Old Testament: This term means to walk (with God) in the world, to tread, and to go around.

New Testament: This term means to walk, to conduct oneself, and to live. For purposes of brevity, I will exclude physical walking (including Jesus’ walking on water).

Following the tradition of the elders: Mk.7:5, Mk.12:38, Lk.11:44, Acts 21:21

  1. Why do you eat a meal with unclean hands?
  2. Scribes (in long robes) accepting greetings in the marketplace
  3. You [Pharisees & scribes] are like unseen graves bringing ritual impurity
  4. The Jews claim that Paul is not telling Jews to observe their customs

Jn.6:66: Many Jews left Jesus and returned to their former way of life

Jn.8:12: I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness.

1Cor.3:3: For you are still in the flesh

Gal.5:16: Live by the Spirit and you will not certainly gratify the desire of the flesh.

Who conduct themselves as enemies of the cross of Christ: Col:3:18

  1. The Jews
  2. Those who seek such sexual appetites
  3. Strangers to the gospel
  4. More concerned with worldly affairs
  5. Who pretend to teach Christ
  6. WHO MIX THE GOSPEL WITH WORLDLY VALUES!!!
  7. Who refuse to take up his cross for Christ
  8. Who are opposed to the doctrines of Christianity

Heb.13:9: It is not good have foods (observances) which do not benefit those who live by them

1Pet.5:8: Be sober and vigilant. The devil is prowling (walking about) looking for someone to devour

1Jn.1:6: If we say ‘We have fellowship with Him’ while we continue to walk in darkness, we lie and do not act in truth

Synod of Synodalities summary statement:

  1. Desire increased laity decision making and responsibilities
  2. No one should be excluded
  3. Walk and listen to the people
  4. Seek consensus building
  5. Support and respond to those who are marginalized as a result of fidelity to Church teachings (Are they implying that Church teachings and God are evil and hateful???? That sounds like one living in an up-side down bizarro post-Christian secular world!)
  6. Discern together controversial issues and open questions
  7. Discern together whether a doctrinal issue can or must remain. (Does that mean consensus is more important than doctrine???)
  8. The faithful cannot err in matters of faith if they can manifest universal consent. (Does that mean laity can also determine doctrine???)

Conclusion:

Ambulance, march, voyage, voyager, marching, quarry, demand, demanding

Old Testament: It was very important for the Jews (Hebrews) to walk with God in being faithful to Him.

Mk.7:5: The scribes and Pharisees were more overly concerned with rituals and laws.

Mt.12:38: The scribes go around seeking praise from others.

Lk.1:44: Those who touch graves become unclean for seven days.

Jn.6:66: Many walked away when Jesus stated one must eat and drink His Body and Blood. [Is this a coincidence or not about Jn:6:66?] 666: represents the superlative form of imperfection and the devil (walking away from God’s ways)

Jn.8:12: Not following Jesus represents walking in darkness. This is preceded by Jesus’ command TO SIN NO MORE (Jn.8:11). Not following Jesus’ command to sin no more essentially means to walk in darkness.

Gal.5:16: The spirit of man is contrasted with the Spirit of God. The flesh has desires against the Spirit.

Heb.13:9: Foods (and observances) which do not benefit (human additions to theology and perversions of the Spirit)

1Pet.5:8: One must be wary of the devil’s effort to influence others. The devil often influences us in very subtle ways (busyness, distraction, guilt, uncertainty, humanistic compassion, being worldly, and being open to opposing God’s laws). We all must remember that Peter, briefly “inspired” by the devil, was also concerned about Jesus’ welfare.

1Jn.1:6: Walking in darkness is error and depravity, both intellectually and morally.

Update: Pope Francis and his inner circle have implemented human traditions decreeing that Jesus’ Church has become a worldly synodal Church.

The Synod of Synodalities is not promising to uphold Catholic principles. These cardinals, bishops, and priests are walking together with the laity in listening to what the world wants. The clergy and laity are working together to develop new doctrine and theology.

The leaders of the Synod of Synodalities desire that the clergy and laity walk together in order to change the structure of the Church. This in turn will change the Church’s doctrine and teachings according to the wishes of the laity (world).

Pope Francis and his inner circle are walking together with the LGBTQ community in creating human traditions seeking to de-stigmatize, normalize, and ratify homosexuality in Church teachings

Pope Francis and his inner circle are actively and intentionally refusing to follow Jesus’ command to sin no more (Jn.8:11). They are focusing more on mercy, inclusion, tolerance, false compassion rather than sin, forgiveness, conversion, and true compassion.

According to Jn.8:11-12, it can be said that Pope Francis and his inner circle are walking in darkness when they do not follow Jesus’ command to sin no more. (Jn.8:11)

Unfortunately, there currently remains a large percentage of Catholics who did not believe in Jesus’ real presence in the Eucharist. Many have walked away from the faith.

Pope Francis and his inner circle, in their outreach to the LGBTQ community, are seeking the gratify the this community’s desire for the acceptance of homosexuality and same sex unions. Yet the flesh has desires against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh. (Gal. 5:17)

Pope Francis and his inner circle claim that the “Holy Spirit” was present during the German Synod. But German Church is now doctrinally going off the rails into heresy and schism! Yet, the Holy Spirit CANNOT bless sin!  So what spirit is Pope Francis talking about??? This becomes a perversion of the Spirit.

Pope Francis and his inner circle claim that the “Holy Spirit of Surprises” is also present at the Synod of Synodalities. Again, what spirit is Pope Francis talking about??? Rather, there were hand-picked allies who approved the pre-arranged agenda in this synod. This also becomes a perversion of the Spirit.

“When ideology gets involved in Church process, the Holy Spirit goes home, because ideology overcomes the Holy Spirit.” Pope Francis (Is Pope Francis implying that ideology opposes the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is very central in formulating ideology! To say otherwise is another perversion of the Spirit!)

Pope Francis and his inner circle are continually introducing new “observances” into the Church: becoming a synodal Church, TLM restriction, redefining homosexuality, sacrilege, diluting Church teachings, liturgical confusion, mixing theology with worldly values, etc.

Pope Francis and his inner circle has just now introduced transgender baptisms and transgender godparents!

Still another human invention: Pope Francis is calling for a paradigm shift in Catholic theology. He cites there is a need to deal with “profound cultural transformations.”

We all must not forget this important distinction: walking with God (in the world) is NOT the same as with walking with the world!

Authentic walking in faith: Bishop Strickland walks proudly upholding Catholic teachings in the face of opposition!

“The devil is capable of confusing the most brilliant mind.” St. Padre Pio

“We do not want a Church that will move with the world. We want a Church that will move the world.” GK Chesterton
