At World Youth Day 23, Bishop Aguiar, part of Pope Francis’ inner circle, sets aside and mocks Jesus’ command to go and make disciples of all nations. Evidently, this seems to be part of the Church’s Synodal efforts to make Jesus’ Church that looks less Catholic.”

Background:

Greek Hellenism: This term means to declare invalid, to act treacherously, to break with, to reject, and to disprove.

New Testament: This term means to break one’s word, to set aside, to reject (disregard), to nullify, and to scorn.

Mt.6:26: “King Herod did not want to break his word to Herodia’s daughter’s request for John the Baptist’s head.” (Despite Herodias’s horrendous request, King Herod felt it was important not to break his word to her.)

Mk.7:9: “How well you have set aside the commandment of God in order to uphold your tradition!” (The disregarded God’s commandments but cling to human traditions, which only serve to further their own interests and agenda.)

Lk.7:30: “But the Pharisees and scholars of the law rejected the plan of God for themselves.” (The plan of God is essentially for our salvation.)

Rejecting the plan of God:

1. Men (and women) cannot frustrate the real purposes of God.
2. But they can have contempt for and violate the God’s command.
3. These efforts lead to one’s harm and detriment as God knows what is best for us.
4. Men (and women) reject the plan of God because they often think they “know better.”

Lk.10:16: “Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.” (This rejection takes on a more serious nature in further rejecting Christ and the Father.)

1Cor.1:19: “I will also destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the learning of the learned I will set aside.”

Human wisdom and learning:

1. The wisdom of the age includes human wisdom, philosophical wisdom, and arrogance (“knowing better”).
2. The wisdom of wise will perish.
3. The ‘foolishness’ of God is wiser the than human wisdom.
4. Christ crucified is a stumbling block for the Jews.
5. Christ crucified is foolishness to Gentiles.

1Thess.4:8: Who disregards this [holiness] disregards God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.”

1. Sexual immorality pertains to fornication, adultery, and unlawful marriage.
2. God’s will calls us to holiness, not impurity and immorality.
3. Jewish law had forbidden irregular Geek marriages [marrying within the family in order to to retain inheritances].

The conciliar [Vatican II] and Synodal Church rejecting the Church’s primary mission to BRING SOULS INTO HEAVEN.

1. 1983 Code of Canon Law 1752 states, “The salvation of souls, which always has ben the SUPREME LAW of the Church, is to be kept before one’s eyes.”
2. The conciliar (and synodal) Church focuses more on MAKING A BETTER WORLD and SEEKING FAVOR WITH THE WORLD.
3. The Church looks more like a United Nations NGO rather than a divine institution.
4. Bishops engage more in politics, immigration, social causes, and environmental rather than spiritual matters.
5. Pope Francis: “Evangelization does not begin by seeking to convince others, but by bearing witness to the love.” (Pope Francis criticized evangelization. He equates evangelization with proselytization (as if evangelization is a bad thing!)
6. Pope Leo: “The supreme rule in the Church is love. No one should impose his or her own ideas; we all must listen together.” (Pope Leo continues to follow the Synodal path of Pope Leo in creating a “listening” Church.)
7. This synodal Church evidently does not place a high priority in following Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations (Mt.28:19-20). (Pope Francis criticizes and Pope Leo diminishes Jesus’ commands to make disciples.)
8. Cardinal Mueller: The Church is not [or should not be] a man-made organization with a grand ethical or social program [like a NGO].
9. Cardinal Mueller:  The LGBTQ flag has no place inside the Catholic Church.

1. The Greek verb atheteo means to set aside (a-) what is placed (-theteo).

Update: The Synodal Church continues to reject and sets aside Church teachings and Jesus’ command to sin no more (Jn.8:11) in favor of toleration, inclusion, and “mercy above all else”.

The Synodal Church, in its LGBTQ “outreach”, is breaking the priestly responsibilities to the LGBTQ community in not pointing out the sinfulness of homosexuality and same-sex unions (irregular marriages). The Vatican is putting many mortal souls in peril.

Empowered bishops continue to enact Traditiones Custodes seeks to essentially set aside the Traditional Latin Mass. More and more faithful conservative and traditional Catholics are marginalized.

Cardinal Aguiar, in his comments about World Youth Day, has essentially mocked Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations (Mt.28:19). Offering a “watered-down Catholic faith to the young people causes great harm to them. No more than ever, the younger generations are entitled to the unvarnished truth of Christ.

Like with his predecessor, Pope Leo continues to rejecting high standards in integrity and moral character by appointing, and promoting questionable clergy.

The Vatican has consistently dismissed and set aside Marian messages prophesying evil, chastisement and punishment. The Vatican naively believe that God only can show mercy. The Vatican is deluding itself in not recognizing the perilous sinful state of the Church and society.

The Trump administration successfully removed and captured the Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. Still many opponents cannot not remove their TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) even when Trump helps Venezuelans.

The Vatican recently fired a priest who used a colorful term (faggot) to describe the prevalent homosexual lifestyle of the clergy.

Studies have shown that more and more young people are rejecting porn. They are finding that porn does not bring liberation but despair.

Many Protestants would have you believe that Catholics had added 7 books to the bible. In actuality, Luther removed these 7 books because he did not believe these books were inspired.

Many of us oftentimes need to set aside our electronic devices (and social media) to find that quiet time to hear the voice of God.
