[Greek] κοινός (koinos), [Latin] comminus, [French] accessible a tous: common, shared, unclean, worthless, mutual, and impure; Mk.7:2, Acts 2:44, Acts 4:32, Acts 10:14,28, Acts 11:8, Rom.14:14, Tit.1:4, Heb.10:29, Jd.1:3

We see this when Bishop Martin of North Carolina inserts his opinions on the liturgy and the many bishops who promote their pro-LGBTQ views on the Church.
Background information:
Greek Hellenism: This term means shared in common, shared with others, public, ordinary, popular, profane, and by common consent
Old Testament: This term means one, united, shared, society, association, and company.
New Testament: This term means common, profane, shared, defiled, unclean, and mutual.
Mk.7:2: “The Pharisees and scribes observed that some of His disciples [commonly] at their means with unclean unwashed hands.” (The Pharisees and scribes were more concerned with ritualistic purification rituals. These disciples did not keep the tradition of the elders. Jesus recalls Isaiah’s prophecy [Isa. 29:13] about people focusing on human doctrines rather than worshipping God.)
Acts 2:44: “All who believed were together and had all things in common.” (The Christian community was called to attend to the need of the poor. The goods were set aside for the community. The wealthy had the financial means to offer some of their property for the community. Yet people were still allowed to keep their private property.)
Acts 10:28: “[Peter]: You know that it is unlawful for a Jewish man to associate with, or visit a Gentile, but God has shown me that I should not call any person profane or unclean.” (Peter fully understands the meaning of his vision. Peter is prepared to admit Gentiles, who were considered enemies, into the Christian community.)
Heb.10:29: “Do you not think that a much worse punishment is due to one who has contempt for the Son of God, considers unclean the covenant-blood by which He was consecrated, and insults the Spirit of grace?” (For if violation of the Mosaic law could be punished by death, how much more serious will be the punishment of those who turn their backs on Christ by despising His sacrifice and disregarding the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Judgment belongs to the Lord.)
Bishop Martin, by inserting his own opinions, caused controversy, opposition, ridicule, and confusion about the Latin Mass:
- He will be shutting down traditional Latin Masses in his diocese, citing Traditiones Custodes. (In other words, having both the TLM and NO Masses is “divisive”.)
- He is starting a full “blitzkrieg” on all reverence in liturgy.
- He has banned the St. Michael’s Prayer at the end of Mass.
- He has banned kneeling to receive Communion, altar rails, crossing oneself or bowing before receiving Communion, and genuflecting before the Tabernacle.
- He has banned kneeling in front of the altar, crosses and candlesticks on the altar.
- Women lectors are not allowed to veil.
- He has banned traditional priestly vestments.
- He has banned purification of the vessels with water and wine.
- Any Latin at all may be used only if the congregation can speak Latin.
- Bishop Martin’s appointment was not supported by then Cardinal Robert Prevost (now Pope Leo XIV).
- Not surprisingly, Bishop Martin did not follow through on his actions.
Update: The Synod of Synodality is committing sins against the Holy Spirit by overthrowing Catholic teaching in favor of woke ideology and globalist programs. It is a serious sin to use the Holy Spirit to change Church teaching. The Holy Spirit cannot state error or heresy.
Pope Leo XIV just corrected Pope Francis’ troublesome comments (opinion) that cohabitation imparts the grace of real marriage. This is how and why Pope Francis made HERETICAL, DANGEROUS, AND CONTROVERSAL statements under the guise of “mercy.”
There unfortunately continues to be a high percentage of people who do not believe in the Real Presence.
German Bishop Schepers claims that the Church’s teachings on sexuality must change. This is a common view among homosexual clergy. He advocates for normalizing homosexuality, changing the Church’s teachings on marriage (between a man and a woman), and supporting Fiducia Supplicans (homosexual blessings).
Fr. Heimerl TRUTHFULLY claims that Pope Francis synodal Church is being controlled by homosexual men. This can help to to illustrate the The Vatican’s explicit and implicit acceptance of homosexuality and large LGBTQ “outreach”.
Bogus rationale for Traditiones Custodes: It has been reported that 70% of the bishops DID NOT respond to the survey determining if the TLM should be banned. Therefore the anti-TLM bishops created confirmation bias for skewing the results of this survey.
It remains to be seen how Pope Leo XIV will respond to this. As of now, he has made some promising statements which made the LGBTQ community upset or uncomfortable. That is a good thing!
The Modernists and Synodalists are seeking to undermine and upend Jesus’ Church and Tradition by creating a synodal Church made in the image of man, lived experiences, and opinions. The Modernists and Synodalists are creating new human traditions.
Yet, Traditional and conservative Catholics are often accused of being Pharisees for holding on to Tradition. Tradition is true reform and renewal.
St. Pius V’s Quo Primum [written on July 14, 1570], states that the Traditional Latin Mass must be permitted in perpetuity.
“In virtue of our apostolic authority, we grant and concede in perpetuity for the chanting or reading of the Mass in any church whatsoever. This Missal is hereafter to be followed. We likewise follow and ordain that this present document cannot be revoked or modified, but remains always valid and retains its full force.” (A valid argument for the continuance of the TLM.)
“A law against the common good is no valid law.” St. Thomas Aquinas (A valid argument against the TLM suppression.)
