[Greek] ἀγνοέω (agnoeō), [Latin] ignorare,[Latin] ignotus, [German] nich wissen: to ignore, to not know, to be ignorant, to not pay attention, to not recognize, to fail to understand; 25 scriptures

Anthony the Great quote: A time is coming when men will go mad, and...

Unfortunately, the culture is filled with ignorance, evil, hatred, politicization, worldliness, tolerance, inclusion, and false compassion. The Church also continues to be entrenched in the world.

Background information:

Greek Hellenism: This term means to be mistaken, to fail to know, to not recognize, to do nothing, to fail to understand, unknown, to go wrong, and to be ignorant.

Socrates: “I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance.”

Plato’s Phaedrus 22e: “I have forgotten myself.”

Herodotus’ The Histories 4.156: “They were ignorant of the cause of their misfortune.”

Plato’s Phaedrus 277d: “Ignorance of right or wrong and good and bad is in truth inevitably a disgrace.”

Plato’s Gorgias 517c: “For during all this time that we have been debating, we have never ceased circling around to the same point and misunderstanding each other.”

Old Testament: This term means to be ignorant, to not know, unknown, to be wrong, to be unsure, to trespass, and to be foolish. This term is often defined by one’s relationship with God. Not knowing can mean ignorance, error, rejection, and disobedience to God.

New Testament: This term means not understanding, ignorant, not acknowledging, unaware, and unknown.

Mk. 9:32: “But the disciples did not understand the saying, and they were afraid to question Him.” (The disciples did not understand Jesus’ second prediction of the Passion: ‘the Son of Man is to be handed over to men, they will kill Him, and three days after His death He will rise’. The disciples did not understand Jesus’ path.)

Acts 13:27: “The inhabitants of Jerusalem and their leaders failed to recognize Him, and by condemning Him they fulfilled the oracles of the prophets.” (Paul charitably stated that the Jews had different pre-conceived notions about the Messiah. They expected a king and conqueror, not a poor and despised person. The Jews were ignorant of the true meaning of the Old Testament prophecies.)

“Acts 17:23: “For as I walk around looking carefully at your shrines, I even discovered an altar described, ‘To and Unknown God.’ What you unknowingly worship, I proclaim to you.”

  1. How does Paul view the Athenians? Paul sees the Athenians as very religious. Paul is appealing to the Athenians’ religiosity. The Athenians unknowingly worship God.
  2. How do the Athenians view this Unknown God? This is a limited understanding of God who dwells in sanctuaries, served by human hands, and requires human help.
  3. What does Paul seek to accomplish? Paul contests the common belief in a multiplicity of gods exerting their powers through images. There is a human desire to find God. God will judge the world with justice.

Rom.2:4: “Or do you hold His priceless kindness, forbearance, and patience in low esteem, unaware that the kindness of God would lead you to repentance?” (The final judgment will be a review of performance, not of privilege. The Gentiles stand on equal footing with the Jews. The Jews cannot condemn the sins of the Gentiles without condemning themselves.)

Rom.6:3: “Or are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?” (Through our baptism, each of must die to sin, to our old sinful ways, and to the sinful ways of the world.)

Rom.11:25: “I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not become wise in your own estimation: a hardening has come upon Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles come in.” (In God’s providence, Israel’s unbelief is being used to grant the light of faith to the Gentile. In spite of the Israelites’ unbelief, they remain dear to God.)

2Cor.2:11: “So that we might not be taken advantage of by Satan, for we are not unaware of his purposes.” (Paul calls upon the Corinthians to effectively and compassionately punish any one who has caused offence. This is necessary as to not allow Satan to take advantage of this scandal or crisis. Souls are at stake during these situations.)

The experience of the ministry (2 Cor.6:6-10):

  1. We are treated as deceivers and yet are truthful.
  2. We are unrecognized and yet acknowledged.
  3. We are dying and behold we live.
  4. We are chastised and yet not put to death.
  5. We are sorrowful and yet always rejoicing (spiritual treasures).
  6. We are poor and yet enriching many.
  7. We have nothing (few earthly possessions) and yet possessing all things (abundance in Christ).

1Tim.1:13: “[Paul]: I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and an arrogant man, but I have been mercifully treated because I acted out of ignorance in my unbelief.” (Paul was once a rabid Pharasaic persecutor of the Christians. Paul was spiritually blinded and later physically blinded by Jesus. Paul’s eyes are later spiritually opened by Jesus.)

False teachers denounced (2Pet.2:12-15):

  1. They revile things that they do not understand.
  2. In their destruction they will be destroyed.
  3. The revel in their deceits while carousing with you.
  4. Their eyes are full of adultery and insatiable for sin.
  5. They seduce unstable people.
  6. Their hearts are trained in greed.
  7. Abandoning the straight road, they have gone astray.

God’s creation and moral laws:

  1. God created two distinct genders which are complimentary (whose bodies fit together).
  2. Marriage is a fruitful and sacred institution for procreation designed by God.
  3. Homosexuality and same-sex unions UNDERMINE God’s designs for marriage. These relationships are disordered and unfruitful.
  4. Transgenderism fundamentally UNDERMINES God’s designs for gender for each person. This mindset illustrates disobediently saying, “I can be any gender I want.”

What is Satan’s endgame (ultimate objectives)?

  1. To take advantage of unstable and vulnerable persons.
  2. To encourage others to become an obstacle to God.
  3. To upend, to destroy, to undermine, and to redefine God’s creation and moral laws.
  4. To undermine (change) God’s moral institutions: marriage, procreation, and gender.
  5. To encourage pornography to undermine the dignity and respect for the male and female body.
  6. To influence us through, possession, sins, addictions, busyness, enticement, distraction, deceit, “pushing our buttons and desires”, and vulnerabilities.
  7. To encourage one to think “I can do whatever I want“, especially when it comes to undermining God’s laws. (gender, marriage, sex).
  8. To encourage others to spew hatred and evil thoughts about others.
  9. Satan does not need to fully possess us. SATAN ONLY NEEDS FOR US TO FORGET ABOUT GOD.

False Modernist and Synodalist teachers denounced in the Church:

  1. They revile Tradition, the TLM, and Traditional (conservative Catholics).
  2. Vatican II has lead to a spiritual and pastoral disaster for the Church.
  3. Synodality continues what Vatican II has started. To double down on failure.
  4. Synodality is creating a worldly Church made in the image of man and his lived experiences.
  5. It is claimed that a large number of clergy engage in the homosexual lifestyle.
  6. Many clergy seduce others into thinking that homosexuality is NOT SINFUL. They are placing souls in eternal peril.
  7. Many clergy seduce others into thinking that SAME-SEX UNIONS CAN BE BLESSED. This is blessing evil.
  8. Many clergy are abandoning the Church’s primary mission in bringing souls into heaven.
  9. Many clergy are more focused on MAKING A BETTER WORLD and SEEKING FAVOR WITH THE WORLD.

Many people perhaps do not understand why we have so much political and cultural violence in our society. Comparing how the Right and Left respond to assassinations, injustice, and tragedy can provide some insight.

How does the political and cultural Left respond? They will often respond with racial justice measures, violence (burning down cities and rioting) or celebrating one’s death.

How does the political and cultural Right respond? They will offer prayer and condolences.

What are some other factors which many may not understand about our society’s proclivity for anger and violence?

  1. Some advocate for a misleading and deflecting “both sides” argument which states that the right and left are equally responsible for causing violence. However, left-wing violence seems to predominate.
  2. Some may perceive that Catholic and Christian values are “hateful” and “divisive” pertaining to social and family issues. Therefore, some opponents may react to this with a violent response.
  3. Depending on one’s political perspective, Jan 6 will always be a point of contention.
  4. Some claim that the left, unable to effectively politically persuade at the ballot box, may feel compelled to resort to more provocative means.
  5. The assassin evidently felt compelled to resort to violence to silence a person with a microphone.
  6. Many claim that inflammatory language and demonization may contribute to and facilitate people acting out with violence. Perhaps both sides are culpable in this.
  7. The Left seeks to minimize the connection of transgenderism with terror (violence) while the Right tend to elevate the connection of transgenderism with terror (violence).
  8. It seems that the FBI is beginning to further uncover a dark network of transgender left-wing activists. It is going to be more difficult to claim ignorance about this!
  9. Opposing political ideologies often seek to hinder efforts to effectively solve crime, to respond to societal issues, and to meet constituents’ concerns. This is unfortunate.

Other trends:

  1. The Democratic (Progressive) party’s power has already been declining in the political arena.
  2. This Charlie Kirk assassination is causing a spiritual awakening. More people are going to or returning back to Church. This has become a moral shock for many people.
  3. Charlie Kirk inspired and challenged many young people. There will be eventually more TPUSA chapters. Many young people will heading to the Republican party.
  4. Many young people are realizing that they can no longer belong to a political party which espouses violence, evil thoughts, and murder.

Conclusion:

Ignoble, ignorant, ignoramus, ignore

Update: Many Modernist and Synodalist clergy do not understand that Jesus called for us to SIN NO MORE (Jn. 8:11). Yet, they do NOT state Church teachings that homosexuality is sinful.

We are all seeing the sincere religiosity of Protestants seeking to find meaning in their faith. They are searching deep in history of the early Church. Many Protestants are becoming Catholic.

We are all going to be judged for our actions at the final judgment. Clergy will be more critically judged for their ACTIONS and INACTIONS in how they acted in their vocation.

As seen by media social posts, many people, in all walks of life, have lost the sense of sin, morality, and decency. Many are now become famous (infamous).

We being baptized in Jesus’ death presumes that we understand and recognize sin. THIS BECOMES POINTLESS IF MANY LAITY, CLERGY, AND PASTORS STILL CANNOT OR REFUSE TO RECOGNIZE SIN AND EVIL.

Many people do not realize that Charlie Kirk, a Christian, held a great devotion to Mary. Charlie Kirk believed that many Christians do not value Mary enough.

The USCCB have been entrenched in financial transactions with charities, government agencies, and NGO’s pertaining to immigration, illegal immigration, and child trafficking. Fortunately, the US government has turned off the money supply.

Modernists and Synodalists have arrogantly claimed that the ecclesiology of the Church has changed. In their hard-heartedness, they claim that Tradition is backward looking and rigid.

Ignorance of social problems: When someone (like Charlie Kirk) talked about the serious problem of absent fathers in the Black community, Charlie Kirk was often deemed as a racist for bringing this up.

USCCB ignorantly losing the plot: The USCCB is partnering with the AUSCP about masturbation. The USCCB published and later removed an essay, “DEI means God.” You can’t make this up!

Satan will take any opportunity to cause ambiguity, confusion, division, and upheaval in the Church. This is what Satan does.

The official BLM account just posted a video saying that “all oppressed people have a right to violence.” This was post in light of the murder of the Ukrainian woman Iryna Zarutska. This speaks volumes!

Living in an upside-down bizarro world: Catholics and Christians, getting their values from God, are often deemed “hateful”. Does this also mean that God is “hateful?”

“Learn to know the spirit of the age, study it, so whenever possible you will be able to avoid its influence.” St. Ignatius Brianchaninov

“Ignorance is a dangerous and spiritual poison, which all men ought warily to shun.” Pope Gregory I

“Right is right even if nobody does it. Wrong is wrong even if everybody is wrong about it.” GK Chesterton

“What is wrong is that we do not ask what is right.” GK Chesterton
