[Greek] ἰός (ios), [Latin] ferrugo, [Latin] venenum, [Latin] virus, [German] eisenrost, [German] gift: poison, venom, rust; Rom.3:13, Jas.3:8, Jas.5:3

The Vatican document Mater Populi Fidelis, instead of celebrating Mary’s role in the Church, downgrades her role in its intended ecumenical efforts to reach Protestants. This document sprinkles poisonous drops of the Jansenist heresy, diminishing Mary’s status in the role of Redemption.
Background information:
Old Testament: This term means poison, malicious words, and evil.
New Testament: This term means poison, venom, rust, and corrosion.
Rom.3:13: “Their throats are open graves; they deceive with their tongues; the venom of asp is on their lips.” (All human beings share the common burden of sin. They are manifested by their throat, tongue, lips, mouth, feet, and eyes.)
Universal bondage to sin:
- Although the Jews may have a privileged status, both Jews and Gentiles are under the guilt of sin.
- No one can be justified under the law. The Jews are equally corrupt and depraved as the Gentiles.
- They are without understanding in relation to what is good.
- Where there is no fear of God, God is hidden from them.
- Tongues and lips spew out poison (words) of serpents.
- Sin drives one into hatred and makes words as treacherous weapons.
- The destructive power of sin is the antithesis of the saving message of Christ.
Jas.3:8: “But no human being can tame the tongue. It is restless evil, full of deadly poison.” (The unruly tongue can produce one of the greatest evils. There is no poison more deadly than the poison [venom] of the tongue.)
Jas.5:3: “Your gold and silver have corroded, and that corrosion will be a testimony against you; it will devour your flesh like a fire. You have stored up treasure for the last days. (James speaks to the transitory (temporary) character of life. Rust corrupts gold, silver, and one’s character. This is a warning against the attachment (confidence) of riches and earthly treasures.)
The Transalpine Redemptorists condemn the Vatican’s document on Mary as Co-Mediatrix and Mediatrix of All Graces:
- The primary purpose of this document is to initiate an ecumenical effort to Protestants. Catholics already know that Mary is NOT higher than our Lord.
- This document reeks of Jansenism, which seeks to minimize the status and honor of Mary. Mary must not be elevated this high.
- Jansenism downplays Our Lady’s active role at Calvary and emphasizes that Christ alone is the one Redeemer.
- Jansenists believe that “Our Lady co-redeemed the world” is pious excess and doctrinal error.
- The Transalpine Redemptorists has just called this Vatican document heretical.
- Modernism is essentially the synthesis of all heresies.
Troublesome, poisonous, and “over the top” ideas and statements from the clergy:
- “All religions are a path to reach God.” (This is the heresy of indifferentism: the belief that all religions are equally valid paths to truth or salvation.)
- Under the guise of promoting “unity”, Traditiones Custodes seeks to restrict and remove the Traditional Latin Mass. (This document continues to cause further division in the Church.)
- Fiducia Supplicans both states Church teachings against homosexuality but also provides “liturgical blessings” for same sex couples. (This document is allowing for “blessings” of evil and sin.)
- Vatican’ LGBTQ outreach: providing inclusion, tolerance, accompaniment, but also disregarding Church teachings against homosexuality.(Sin is ignored.)
- Pope Leo stating that the supreme law of the Church is love, not the SALVATION OF SOULS. (This is quite evident in his synodal thinking (MAKING A BETTER WORLD and SEEKING FAVOR WITH THE WORLD takes precedence over the SALVATION OF SOULS.)
- Vital immanence: redefining God, doctrine, Church teachings, and sin through one’s sentiments. (Synodality is the next step of Modernism. Synodality becomes elevated as an IDOL.)
- Seamless garment doctrine: equating and minimizing grave moral issues with lesser moral issues. (Immigration takes on the same gravity of abortion. The bishops are currently doubling down on immigration.)
- More seamless doctrine: USCCB VP Bishop Flores equates massive deportation to driving someone to an abortion clinic. (This statement goes off the deep end in terms of equivalency of intrinsic evils.)
Etymology: The German noun gift means poison and gift.
Conclusion:
Ferrous, ferric, virus, viral, rust, rusty
Update: Some progressive and liberal “Catholics” actually believe that the Church’s teachings against homosexuality is “hateful”. This is a poisonous anti-Catholic sentiment.
Words, silence, and actions have consequences. Pope Leo has remained silent and indifferent towards allowing scandals to occur in the Church. Pope Leo continue to make questionable appointments.
It seems that Pope Leo is continuing Pope Francis’ path in allowing doctrinal and liturgical confusion (ambiguity) to continue in his papacy.
Unfortunately, there are too many Protestant pastors and ministers who promote the “prosperity gospel”, which focuses on material and earthly treasures.
Pastors who have mansions: not a good look!
Many have lost sight that heavenly (spiritual) treasures are much longer lasting than earthly treasures. We won’t be able to take our stuff with us when we enter into heaven.
The Vatican LGBTQ “outreach” continues its tolerance, inclusion, accompaniment to the LGBTQ community. Clergy and laity continue to ignore or pay lip service to Church teachings against homosexuality.
The poison of sin remaining with someone: Many clergy and laity will NOT talk about the sin of homosexuality. As a result, many souls will be put in mortal peril for engaging in this lifestyle.
More synodal poison: confirmation of homosexual couples. The Vatican document Fiducia Supplicans is affirming his sinful lifestyle with “blessings.”
“The most deadly poison of our times is indifference.” St. Maximilian Kolbe
“Ignorance is a dangerous and spiritual poison, which all men ought to warily to shun.” Pope Gregory I
“Yet the theological poison remains unchanged.” Fr. Frederico Palma (upon the election of Pope Leo XIV)
“Sin is like poison. When you sin, it is as if you drank poison; you are the person who is going be poisoned. It is useless to blame others when you get poisoned and die.” St. Sharbal
