Background information:

Greek Hellenism: This term means to separate, to part, to join others, to set apart, to distinguish, to decide, to consult (the birds), to doubt, to hesitate, and to waver.

Homer’s Odyssey 8.195: “Even, a blind man could distinguish this mark, groping it with his hands.”

Herodotus’ The Histories 1.11: “Now, Gyges, you have two ways before you decide which you will follow.”

Aristophanes’ Birds 719: “Before undertaking anything, you consult the birds by reading the omens, and you give this name of omen to all signs that tell of the future.”

Plato’s Philebus 46b: “Protarchus, we can probably never settle the point at issue.”

Old Testament: This term means to judge, to examine, to litigate, to separate, to distinguish, to contend, to choose, and to litigate. Willful rejection rather than doubt plays an important in man’s relationship with God.

New Testament: This term means to judge, to doubt (waver), to confront, to discriminate, to distinguish, distinction, and to discern. Sometimes it is often difficult to make the “distinction” between these meanings. (Sorry for the pun–just couldn’t resist) ☺☺☺

Mt.16:3: “You [Pharisees and Sadducees] know how to judge the appearance of the sky, but you cannot judge the sign of the times.” (Jesus criticizes them for not understanding the indications of the coming kingdom in the signs of Jesus. Evil and unfaithful generations, breaking the covenantal relationship with God, engage in spiritual adultery.** They demand a sign.)

Mt.21:21-22: “Jesus said to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not waver [doubt], not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea’, it will be done.” (The cursing of the fig tree represents hypocrisy. The fig tree represents the Jewish people’s blindness and hard-heartedness. If you have faith, you should be able to perform much more difficult things.)

Acts 11:12: “The Spirit told me [Peter] to accompany them without discriminating. These six brother also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.” (The Holy Spirit inspired Peter to set aside the legal barriers between the Jews and Gentiles. This was an indication that the gospel message was also to be given to the Gentiles.)

1Cor.4:6-7: “So that you may learn from us [Paul and Apollos] not to go beyond what is written, so that you may not be inflated with pride. Who confers distinction (knowing better) upon you? What do you possess that you have not received?” (Paul warns the Corinthians to avoid the false wisdom of vain speculation and puffed up arrogance. Paul asks who has conferred this distinction upon the Corinthians. Why are the Corinthians boasting?)

1Cor.11:29: “For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.” (Improperly eating and drinking the Body and Blood of the Lord unworthily (without discernment) will bring upon judgment upon oneself. One must understand the meaning of Jesus’ intentions and His death. To do otherwise, one will be guilty of a sin against the Lord Himself.)

Perseverance in trials: Jas.1:1-8

  1. Consider it all joy when you encounter various trials.
  2. For you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
  3. Let that perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
  4. If you lack wisdom, ask God who gives generously.
  5. But one should act in faith, not doubting.
  6. The one who doubts (divided) is like a wave that is driven and tossed by the wind.
  7. This person is divided (between God and himself).

**Modern day harlotry of the Church having further “intercourse” with worldly values, paganism, and sin in the Church:

  1. Overlooking, ignoring, and paying lip service to Church teachings (practical atheism)
  2. Overlooking, ignoring, de-stigmatizing, and blessing sin
  3. Clergy being marginalized, deposed, removed, laicized, criticized for stating Traditional Church teachings.
  4. Lived experiences, inclusion, and tolerance TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER Church teachings
  5. Having non-Christians and non-believers involved in the synodal process. Sounds like further Protestantizing and secularizing the Church!
  6. Inserting worldly and pagan influences in the Mass
  7. Using the “Holy Spirt of Surprises” to justify and rationalize anything you want. This is very deceitful and dangerous!
  8. Undermining the Church structure: having poorly catechized and sinful laity determining and deciding Church doctrine
  9. Having inverted priorities: focusing more on “making a better world” rather than on bringing souls into heaven.
  10. Vatican II: Bringing in”Fresh air [worldliness]” so that the Church “can get with the times.”  (How is that working out for the Church? )
  11. Vatican II: Bringing in the “smoke of Satan [spirit of undermining and rebellion] into the Church. (Changing and twisting Church doctrine and teachings under the guise of tolerance, inclusion, false compassion, and confusion
  12. Synodality seeks to continue what Vatican started to become a worldly Church more focused on MAKING A BETTER WORLD/SEEKING FAVOR WITH THE WORLD.

The German Synodal Church:

  1. The German Church is “reforming” and “renewing” itself into heresy and decline. (These are the warning signs of things to come with Synodality.)
  2. Central Committee of German Catholics: this is a permanent body of bishops and laity with decision-making authority on introducing changes to doctrine by majority vote.
  3. The German bishops repeatedly ignore Rome’s warnings about their actions. (democratization of decision-making, ordained ministries for women, changing celibacy, women deacons, homosexuality)

Discerning the priesthood, fatherhood celibacy:

  1. Fr. Chad Ripperger: “The collapse of fatherhood is due to men. Women have been allowed to take positions for which God never intended them. Men allowed women to pursue a feminist mentality.” (This is how we get to the idea of having women priests and women deacons. This becomes a right rather than a vocation.)
  2. Archbishop Kwofie of Ghana warned to the growing influence of homosexuality an gay culture in the Catholic seminaries in West Africa. (This illustrates the lack of the importance of celibacy).
  3. The German Synodal bishops seek to question celibacy and seek to allow homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle.
  4. The younger generations of priest continue to hold to the traditional role of the priest. (Celibacy and no homosexuality)
  5. Fr. Joachim Heirml states that the Vatican hierarchy s being led by older homosexual priests.

Conclusion:

Dijudicate, discern, discerning, decide, decision, ostentation, monstrance, separate, separation, hesitation, hesitate, distinguish, doubt, dubious, turn, advertise, condemn, judge

In the Old Testament, the focus is on rejection of God’s word rather than on doubt.

Update: It seems that Pope Leo XIV will be following the path of the Modernists and Synodalists on worldly concerns. (Ex. Mass on the Care for Creation, supporting Laudato  Si). They are focusing more on “making a better world” rather than on bringing souls to heaven.

A priest in Trevelez, Granada Spain, was rebuked and forced into hiding for praying for those who don’t go to Mass and for stating the LGBT community need conversion. This priest was called racist and homophobic. Unlike the others, THIS PRIEST UNDERSTANDS THE SIGNS OF THE TIMESBeing rebuked for stating traditional Church teachings: sounds like Bishop Strickland.

Sacrilegious discernment: St. Mary’s Cathedral in North Yorkshire, England permitted a rock concert in their church. The performer played in front of the altar, Tabernacle, and crucifix.

Lackadaisical Eucharistic reception, liturgical abuses (and sacrilege), lack of belief (in the Eucharist), and being in a state of mortal sin all play a part in receiving the Eucharist unworthily

Politicizing the Gospel: The bishop of the diocese of San Bernadino has arrogantly dispensed parishioners from attending Sunday Mass in light of ICE activity. The Church, willingly accepting money in promoting illegal immigration, now finds itself in political opposition to the U.S. government. Many immigrations are in the country illegally.

This Synodal Church is now entrenched in political issues (immigration rights) and power struggles (women seeking the “right” to be priests and deacons).

In this Catholic rejuvenation, many Protestants, being inspired by the Holy Spirit, are entering into the Church, while lax cradle Catholics often leave the Church. This inevitably creates a more faithful Catholic Church.

“This new way of being Church [Synodality]: is a betrayal of Jesus Christ and the Church He established.” Bishop Strickland.

*”Moral principles do not depend on a majority vote. Wrong is wrong even if everybody is wrong. Right is right, even if nobody is right.” Archbishop Fulton Sheen

“All novelty [human tradition] in faith is a sure mark of heresy.” St. Vincent of Lerins
