Elections have consequences: ===>more abortion, more crimes, more sanctuary cities and states (more protecting of illegal criminals, more fraud, and more upending of Christian moral values. Many voters are tolerating corruption, fraud, decency, moral values, and public safety for the sake of political power.
“You get the leaders you deserve. The vast majority of Catholics (and Christians) are leading lives of grave sin.” Fr. Rippinger
Background information:
Greek Hellenism: This term means to yield to, to permit, to let, to leave to, to indulge, and to rely upon.
Homer’s Odyssey 2.226: “To Mento, Odysseus had given all his house in charge.”
Aristophanes’ Plutus 1079: “With anyone but you I should not be so easy.”
Plato’s Euthyphro 5e: “That this is established and right and that we ought not to let him who acts impiously go unpunished.”
Plato’s Charmides 171e: “Nor should be we permit others under our governance to do anything but what likely to do right.”
Old Testament: This term means to loosen to relinquish, to permit, to forsake, and to abandon. Taking a longer “bird’s eye” view of God’s relationship with man, one can state that God was viewing the Old Testament people like adolescents, LOWERING THE BAR in moral conduct.
New Testament: This term means to permit and to allow. Jesus RAISES THE BAR in moral conduct in referring back to God’s intended design for marriage. Jesus say to the people of the New Testament, “You need to act like grown-ups and act accordingingly.”
Would-be followers of Jesus: Lk.9:59,61, Mt.8:21
- Jesus states that Christian discipleship must take precedence over family obligations. (Jesus is intolerant in the need to do this.)
- Even family ties must not eclipse the obligation of proclaiming the kingdom of heaven.
- Jewish and Hellenistic cultures placed an extremely high importance on familial obligations.
- Jesus: let the spiritually dead (who do not follow Jesus) bury their dead.
Mk.5:13: “And He let them [demonic spirits and the unclean spirits], and the unclean spirits came out and entered the swine. The herd of about two thousand swine rushed down a steep bank into the sea where they were drowned.” (The herding of swine indicates that Gentiles resided in the territory of the Gerasenes.)
Mk.10:4-5: “Moses permitted him to write a bill of divorce and dismiss her. Moses wrote this because of the hardness of your hearts.”
Jn.19:38: “Joseph of Arimathea, secretly a disciple of Jesus, asked Pilate if he could remove Jesus’ body. And Pilate permitted it.”
Acts 21:39: “Paul said, ‘I am a Jew, of Tarsus of Cilicia; I request you permit me to speak to the people.” I [Paul] request you to permit me to speak to the people.'” (Saul was his Jewish name. Paul was his Roman name.)
Acts 28:16: “When he entered Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself [in prison] with the soldier who was guarding him.” (Paul was placed under a mild form of custody. He was allowed to proclaim the Word.)
1Cor.14:34: “As in all the churches of the holy ones, women should keep silent in the church, or they are not allowed to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says.” (It must be acknowledged that this was a patriarchal society. Women speaking in public was considered an act of independence. Women conducted their activities separately and privately. This was part of the traditional view that a woman was to be subject to her husband.)
[Greek] τροπή (tropē), [Latin] trophaeum: a turning, trophy, revolution, or change; Jas 1:17

In 102 A.D. the Roman emperor Trajan erected the monument Trophaeum (Traiani) commemorating the victory (turning point) over the Dacians ===> trophy
Jas.1:17: “All good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no alteration) or shadow caused by change [turning].” (Unlike the heavenly bodies, God is immutably constant, good, and unchanging.)
Confusing tolerance with intolerance:
- Tolerance is not a Christian virtue. It is never an end in itself [Archbishop Chaput]
- Tolerance applies only to persons, but never to principles. [Archbishop Sheen]
- Intolerance applies only principles, but never to persons. [Archbishop Sheen]
- Tolerance is the ‘virtue’ of a man without convictions. [GK Chesterton]
- Our society’s obsession with tolerance leads to intolerance. [Charles Colson]
- The Church is intolerant in principle because she believes. [Rev. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange]
- The enemies of the Church are tolerant in principle because they do not believe. [Rev. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange]
Jesus’ teachings of tolerance?? (This is a great fallacy!)
- What does this even mean? Following Jesus is a binary choice. You either follow Him or you do NOT follow Him.
- Jesus stated that if you choose to follow Him, you must sin no more. Jesus is BEING INTOLERANT in saying, “Sin no more.” (Jn.8:11)
- Jesus associated with sinners, but He DOES NOT tolerate their sinful lifestyles and sinfulness.
- Jesus stated that if you DO NOT follow Him, you are walking in darkness (Jn.8:12). Jesus is not being tolerant when He said this.
- Jesus is infinitely merciful to us. But conversion requires repentance and conversion of heart.
- Many people are get confused about what tolerance and intolerance means.
Catholic psychiatrist Conrad Baars explaining false compassion and tolerance:
“A person in authority who deprives his subjects of the truth when he says, even with the best intention of helping them, ‘You may ignore the teachings of the Magisterium: God’s laws are too hard for you.‘ By that he says in effect, ‘You are not and never will be strong and good enough to adhere to these laws.” (This is how you whitewash/ignore Church teachings and ignore/destigmatize sinful behavior. One may even insidiously call this “pastoral”.)
How the USCCB failed the American people:
- They focused too much time inserting themselves in political issues (immigration) more aligned with the Democratic party.
- They failed to focus on core spiritual issues (abortion, pro-life issues).
- They failed to instruct the faithful to put their faith before politics.
- They failed to adequately instructed the ignorant Catholics on core spiritual issues.
- More Catholics voted for the Democrats.
- They failed to teach the moral law clearly. Instead, more focused on the “seamless garment” theory, where all issues are equally relevant.
- They failed to call out the Democratic platform allowing for abortion and same sex unions.
What Vatican II/Synodality permits and allows:
- Disregarding and ignoring the Catholic Church’s primary mission: the salvation of souls.
- They are more focused on questionable ecumenism and SEEKING FAVOR WITH THE WORLD/MAKING A BETTER WORLD.
- Clergy and laity are sharing decision-making authority about Church teachings and doctrine.
- Using Synodal study groups to redefine and de-stigmatize sin.
- Utilizing a LGBT “outreach” to accommodate the LGBT community
- Blurring and commingling vocations with rights.
- Continuing to “reform” and “renew” in becoming more and more unrecognizable from the Church that Jesus established.
- Assigning the consciousness of God into the visible word (environment).
What will be the consequences of this election?
- More sanctuaries states and cities
- More abortion and more access to abortion. Passing legislation to allow for abortion up to birth.
- Less ICE cooperation between the federal government and states
- More unaccounted crimes by illegals and more protection for illegal criminals. More crimes and murders against US citizens
- More investigations
- More attempts to undermine the US government (packing the courts, DC and Puerto Rico state considerations, undermining the Electoral College, etc.)
- More voting for questionably moral candidates (due to party loyalty, overlooking fraud and corruption, TDS)
- Weak and feckless US Catholic bishops becoming failing in speaking out more forcefully on spiritual and moral issues
Trope: This is a figure of speech used for artistic effect. Ex. Achilles’ heal ==> weak spot
Conclusion:
Permit, admit, catapult, lance, reject, eject, disperse, concede, permission, mission, exit, sort, part, sortie, resort
